Camping Chronicles: Mbudi – A Welcome Oasis

After a series of unexpected events, our family found ourselves at Mbudi Campsite in Khwai, a hidden gem amidst the wild. What began as a day filled with plans to explore Xakanaxa quickly turned into an adventure of its own. From trailer troubles in Savuti Marsh to a warm welcome from elephants at the campsite, our journey was a delightful mix of challenges and breathtaking moments. Join me as I recount our escapade, filled camaraderie, and the beauty of nature.

Camping Chronicles at Ihaha Camp – Where Wildlife and Wild Adventures Collide

Ihaha Camp in Botswana’s Chobe National Park offers a camping experience like no other. From wrong turns and impromptu wildlife encounters to bold honey badgers stealing dinner, every moment is filled with adventure. Nestled under a massive sausage tree, we dined on boloroni and G&Ts while watching impalas by the river. The ablution blocks are clean and functional, with the wise advice to avoid walking there at night. Whether dodging buffalo or fending off a hungry honey badger, Ihaha is a front-row seat to the drama and beauty of the African wilderness.
